About Lucky Dragon Hotel

After the English had invited and occupied Myanmar, they settled several economic trade center at the bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River which serve as a natural route From north to south of the country. Being a country which is rich in natural resources, the English think all the possible ways to take profits. Amoung them, Bombay Burma Company was the biggest one which exports the precious teak to the various parts of the world. One of the branches settled at eastern bank of the Ayeyarwaddy in Pyay formally named as Prome in colonial time. As the time flied, there stands Lucky Dragon Hotel in this place today. By the name of " Lucky Dragon ",Lucky means good fortume and Dragon is believed as a very powerful creature in chinese mythology.

Lucky emphasize the dragon as a creature which can bring good luck to the people who stay in "Lucky Dragon". Being a busy town of central myanmar,a lot of people comes to pyay not only for business but for visit. Thanks to bunglow types, visitor can stay comfortably and can hang around the busy down town within three minutes. Our hotel stands on the strand road beside the Ayeyarwaddy river in Pyay. There are seven bungalows in my hotel. There are four rooms which are attached with high qualitied facilities in each bungalow. Wireless internet access is possible in Hotel and telephone with IDD as well in the rooms. We have three kinds of room which we call '' twin '' ,'' double '', and '' triple ''. In " twin ", there are two single beds. For "double", there is one extra large bed where two peoples can sleep comfortably and the room is attached with bath tub (Double only).

There is one super large bed where three peoples can sleep soundly in "triple". We use the key card control system to save the energy and for safety in the rooms. In each room, we use 22 channels TV and DVD player(upon request) for entertainment. All room has air-con and hot & cold shower for 24hrs.We use emergency back-up generator if electricity is out.
